Coffee old friend!

Coffee and CB1100 my two constant companions. The CB is close to 30K miles. Amazing machine, very reliable and beautiful. I have been riding my CB for close to 8 years now and love every single moment. I truly enjoy everything about this motorcycle. The way it  handles, the riding position and the looks. I don't see myself buying another motorcycle.... maybe a Honda Monkey.

I am still riding with the original sparkplugs, original chain and sprocket. I am planning on changing sprockets, chain, tires and oil in the next couple of weeks. I have been riding almost every day, and always get asked if its a 1975 model. Posting pics!

Glad to be back btw!

SFOmoto returns

Cross country move! CB1100 in a Uhaul pulled by The blue lagoon... my Mercury. The move went smoothly and the straps held on very well. I drove 2K miles of highway, dirt roads, hills and mountains and the blue lagoon showed no signs of fatigue. Can't wait to start riding in Colorado...... Pikes Peak here I come!!!!

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum visit!

Got the chance to visit one of the most amazing museums I have ever seen. Every motorcycle I have ever wanted to ride was there. Every car that I have ever had in my top 10 list of cars were there. You can easily spend all day admiring this beautiful pieces of art.

Here are some pics:

Interesting motorcycles

Motorcycles are so much more than just a tool for transportation. My bike has become an extention of me, and I love spending time out on the road.

Here are some pics of bikes I would not mind owning.

Helmet vs No Helmet

Thankfully the law here in Florida allows riders to choose between wearing a helmet or not. I find myself wearing a helmet about 90% of the time. But, there are times when I have to go without a helmet because the feeling is perfect.

I have a few helmets to choose from just in case.

99% of the time I wear this helmet is because I am riding my Street Triple R. Very aerodynamic and reduces noise.

I really like this helmet. Very light and easy to carry if necessary. Exposed face gives me somewhat of a feeling that I am mot wearing a helmet.

The Builtwell Gringo helmet is excellent. Retro style, you can buy the flat or fish-bowl shield. Very comfortable and light.

No helmet. Risky but worth it.

Coonskin hat.... My favorite of all no doubt.

Motorcycles abroad

I enjoyed my trip to Peru last month. The Mountains, nature, fresh foods, Machu Picchu and new roads  left me wanting more of the culture.

I had the chance to spot a few motorcycles that I dont get to see very often. I noticed that some electro-domestic stores in Cusco sale brand new motorcycles. The prices are very cheap due to the currency exchange.

Here are some of the bikes I encountered.
